DAY 1 – Saturday, February 20th – Depart New York
Group arrival to SJO Airport in Costa Rica. Meet & Greet upon arrival and private transfer to the hotel in San Jose.

DAY 2 – Sunday, February 21st –  San Jose – La Paz Waterfall Gardens – Arenal Volcano
Today’s adventure will take us to the La Paz Waterfall Gardens, followed by a transfer to Arenal. La Paz Waterfall Garden eco-park is ideal as an introductory tour to Costa Rica, as it features a mix of attractions within a spectacular natural setting formed by lush tropical rain forests. There, we will take a scenic two-mile walk on well-maintained trails past five waterfalls with views of the Poas Volcano, a butterfly garden, an orchid garden, a hummingbird feeding station for seventeen different species, a serpentarium, and a wildlife rescue center featuring pumas, jaguars, monkeys and other exotic animals. We will enjoy lunch at the gardens. Transfer to the Arenal Volcano area after the tour. Afternoon at leisure in Arenal to enjoy the resort facilities. Check-in and overnight at the resort.

Day 3 – Monday, February 22nd –  Arenal Zip Line Canopy Tour – Arenal Volcano NP Tour
After breakfast, you will have the choice to enjoy the Arenal Zip Line Canopy Tour or Hanging Bridges Tour. These tours are considered some of the best in the area.  The zip line tour has 15 platforms and 13 cables. These tours will let you admire the beautiful surroundings and observe monkeys, birds and sloths as you practically fly or walk over the canopy of the rainforest. After the tour transfer back to your hotel to relax and get ready for the afternoon’s tour.

Early afternoon guided visit to Arenal Volcano Park, including a hike along the park’s trails at the base of the volcano. The majestic Arenal Volcano constitutes the main attraction in this northern region. It’s perfect-formed cone impress visitors from all over the world. You will have the chance to hike along the base of this active volcano, exploring its surrounding tropical forest and observe the petrified lava flows produced by the Arenal during its most active eruption periods.

Day 4 - Tuesday, February 23rd - Arenal Volcano - Safari Boat Tour - Manuel Antonio
Morning hotel check-out and private transfer to Manuel Antonio area, located about a 5-hour drive from Arenal Volcano. On the way, near Carara National Park, we will enjoy a Safari Boat Tour at the Tarcoles River. Upon arrival we will board an open roofed boat to explore the world famous Tarcoles River, which sits at the Guacalillo Estuary. Noted for its mangrove forests, the estuary is also home to many birds including the cuckoo, hummingbirds, Panama flycatcher, herons and egrets. This amazing river also supports a wide variety of water birds such as ospreys, cormorants, pelicans, and thrillingly, one of the largest colonies of crocodiles in Central America. There's a chance you may spot one of the crocodiles sleeping in shallow water or on the river bank. Once we finish the boat tour we will head to the restaurant where we will enjoy lunch. We will continue our trip to Manuel Antonio where we will arrive in the afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5 - Wednesday, February 24th - Manuel Antonio National Park Tour
Morning half day guided visit to Manuel Antonio National Park. This national park covers an area of about 1688 acres, which protects not only four beautiful beaches and the unique formation of Punta Catedral, but also mangroves, a setting of islands offshore, and a tropical forest. Visitors have the opportunity to take a dip in its warm waters, hike in the forest trails and observe the abundant wildlife such as squirrel monkeys, raccoons, coatis, and sloths. After the tour enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Manuel Antonio. Balance of the day at leisure.

Day 7 - Friday, February 26th - Manuel Antonio - Coffee Tour - SJO Airport
Morning at leisure in Manuel Antonio to enjoy the resort facilities.

Early afternoon transfer to the fertile slopes of the Poas Volcano, where the Doka Coffee Estate is located. At Doka you will enjoy a coffee tour, its rich soil, the ideal altitude and the right climate offer the best conditions to produce one of Costa Rica's highest quality coffees. This tour will take us through coffee plantations and a coffee mill allowing us to learn about all the different phases of coffee production. We will have time to sample different varieties of coffee and, of course, to buy some coffee to take back home. After the tour enjoy dinner at a local restaurant followed by a transfer to the airport for your overnight flight to New York.
