Day 1 – Saturday, September 14, 2019
Depart the USA for your overnight flight to Tel Aviv, Israel

Day 2 – Sunday, September 15, 2019  - Tel Aviv
After completing airport formalities transfer from Tel Aviv airport to hotel with driver and guide. Remainder of the day is at leisure.  Dinner this evening will be at the hotel.

Day 3 – Monday, September 16, 2019 – Tiberius
After breakfast in the hotel drive to the Old City of Jaffa. Visit the picturesque artists' quarter and the fishermen's port.

Drive along the Mediterranean shore line to the Herodian port city of Caesarea, where the Romans held Paul prisoner. Visit the site of Caesarea including: Pontius Pilate Stone, the aqueduct, and the hippodrome (Acts 10:24).

Continue to the port city of Haifa; view the gorgeous Hanging Bahai Gardens.

On to Mt Carmel, where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal (Kings 18:20). Visit the Carmelite Monastery in Muhraka.

Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Megiddo in the Valley of Armageddon, a city inhabited continuously for over 5 millennia (6000-500 B.C.).

Cross the Galilee to the Sea of Galilee.  Check in to your hotel

Day 4 – Tuesday, September 17, 2019 – Tiberius
After breakfast, visit Tabgha, where Jesus fed the multitudes with 5 loaves and 2 fish (Luke 9:13).

On to Capernaum where a 2nd century synagogue was discovered and sheds new light on life in the community. Capernaum is where Jesus lived after leaving Nazareth and where he recruited his first disciples. (Matthew 4:13: 8:14-17; 8:5-13; 11:23-24; Luke 4:31-37, Mark 2:1-12; 5:21-43).

Proceed to Banias (Caesarea Philippi), where Jesus revealed himself to his disciples as the Messiah.  

Proceed to Mount of Beatitudes; North of the Sea of Galilee. Here lies a church with an octagonal dome that represents the 8 “Beatitudes” of the sermon with which Jesus Christ blessed his disciples 2000 years ago (Mathew 5: 1-12).

End the day with enjoyable Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.

Day 5 – Wednesday, September 18, 2019 – Jerusalem
After breakfast drive to Nazareth via Cana, site of Jesus' first miracle of changing water to wine.  In Nazareth you will enjoy an observation point on top of Mount Precipice.

Proceed along Jordan Valley to Jericho, believed to be the oldest city in the world.

Drive to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.

Enjoy the unique experience of floating on the Dead Sea.

Arrive in Jerusalem and check in to your hotel.

Day 6 – Thursday, September 19, 2019 – Jerusalem
This morning we ascend the Mt. of Olives (Matthew 24:3, Luke 21:37) for an overview and better understanding of the geography and some key sites surrounding the area. Overlooking the Old City, the mount is covered partly in olive trees, cemeteries and churches, which commemorate the Christian events of Jesus: Ascension, Pater Noster, Dominus Flevit, Maria Magdelena, All Nations (Agony Church) where according the tradition, Jesus spent his last free night.

Visit Gethsemane with its ancient olive trees dating back to the times of Christ

Enter the old city and visit the Temple Mount where you can see from outside the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque which considered to be the 3rd holiest place in the world for the Islam.

Drive to Mt. Zion and visit the church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, where St. Peter denied his Lord 3 times (Matthew 26:31-34). It was also the House of the High Priest Caiaphas (Mark 14:12), where Jesus was interrogated.

Day 7 – Friday, September 20, 2019 – Jerusalem
Visit the City of David, the place “where all began”, we will see Warren’s Pier, Hezekiah’s Tunnel (option to walk on the wet tunnel with flashlights and water shoes) and pool of Siloam.

Proceed to visit Davidson Center with the Southern Wall steps where Jesus stood on those original steps.

Continue to the Western Wall or “Wailing Wall”, the holiest site for the Jewish in the world.

Walk along the Via Dolorosa (stations of the cross) to the church of the Holy Sepulcher:  including the Chapel of the Martyrs and Mt. Golgotha

Day 8 – Saturday, September 21, 2019 – Jerusalem
Morning visit to Bethlehem, birth site of Jesus. The visit here includes Shepherds' Field and the Church of the Nativity.

Continue to the Herodium, desert castle of King Herod the Great. See the ancient synagogue, bath house, underground tunnels and cisterns.

Proceed to Beit Guvrin to visit the underground Hellenistic City (including the Sidonian wall paintings and the Omayan quarries).  

We finish the day with prayer and communion at the traditional site of the burial of Jesus, the Garden Tomb (John 20:1-3).   

Return to Jerusalem for Farewell dinner and overnight.

Day 9 – Sunday, September 22, 2019 – Jerusalem

Transfer to Ben Gurion International Airport for return flight home.
